Officers Report Call About Unconscious Man; Make Drug Arrest
WARSAW — Officers from the Warsaw Police Department responded to a call on Jan. 27 about a man sitting in a car unconscious and reported making a arrest on multiple charges.
Ryan Daniel Weidenbenner, 37, 255 E. Pink Magnolia Drive, Warsaw, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; possession of a syringe, a level 6 felony; and theft, a class A misdemeanor.
Police were called to the Speedway convenience store on Winona Avenue in Warsaw and reported finding Weidenbenner with his head hanging over and leaning against the door of a vehicle. Police said when officers began to open the door, Weidenbenner began to fall out of the vehicle. Officers reported that when they checked on the license plate of the vehicle, it registered to an owner who had reported the vehicle stolen.
The report said that when officers arrested Weidenbenner, they found a syringe, a bag of methamphetamine and a quantity of Xanex. According to the affidavit of probable cause, Weidenbenner currently has charges pending in Kosciusko County Circuit Court for dealing in a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a syringe.
