WARSAW — Every year on Feb. 12, 212 Media Studios celebrates “2/12 Day” by running contests and giveaways to express gratitude for all the people who make Kosciusko County a great place to live—especially non-profits. 

This year, 212 is showing local organizations how important they are to the community by hosting an appreciation luncheon.

“After the holidays are over, it’s easy to go back to normal and forget about the organizations that work year-round to make our community better,” says 212 Chief Marketing Officer David Phelps. “We want our local non-profits to know how much we appreciate the difference they’re making—and we want to use our 2/12 Day event as an opportunity to empower them.”

212 has invited Dekko Foundation President Tom Leedy to speak to the event guests about how they can be leaders in the community and motivate others to get involved in their work. OrthoCity BBQ will be catering the event.

“We love being a part of this community, and we know non-profits are a huge part of what makes it so great,” says Dustin Hickle, marketing strategist and director of social media at 212. “We’re looking forward to offering them a token of our appreciation on 2/12 Day.”
