Heartline’s Annual Gathering Of Hope Set For April 25
WARSAW — On April 25, Heartline Pregnancy Center’s annual Gathering of Hope banquet will take place at the Winona Heritage Room in Winona Lake.
In 2018, the event drew a record 250 guests, and that number is expected to increase this year.
The guest speaker, Melissa Coles, is the birth mother featured in the short documentary “I Lived on Parker Avenue.” Coles will share her moving story of nearly aborting her son — only to choose adoption at the last minute and eventually be reunited with him 19 years later.
“We’re thrilled to have Melissa come and speak at our Gathering of Hope banquet this year,” said Alyx Bates, director of operations at Heartline. “We believe her story will have a powerful impact on our guests, showing them why services and resources like the ones we offer at Heartline are so valuable.”
