Snow and Gusty Winds Forecast For Tuesday Night
KOSCIUSKO — If Monday’s overnight ice storm was not enough, Kosciusko County will see more winter weather beginning this afternoon and continuing through Wednesday, Feb. 13, according to the National Weather Service in North Webster.
The heavy coating of ice led to increasing fog this afternoon, which will be joined by a chance of snow through Tuesday night, Feb. 12, across much of northern Indiana.
Temperatures will begin to slide Tuesday afternoon and a chance of rain and snow will continue into nightfall, the weather service said.
Snow showers are expected Tuesday night and winds will pick up, gusting up to 45 mph. Accumulation around Warsaw will be one to two inches. Lows will be around 22.
Tuesday calls for chance of snow before 1 p.m. Wednesday and breezy conditions. The high will be around 30, the weather service said.
Monday’s ice storm caused traffic problems that continued into Tuesday morning.
