Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
7:33 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2801 West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Nicholas Lynch, 26, Bouse Road, Silver Lake; and Jairren Johnson, 38, Marston Ave., Johnson, Mo. Lynch told police he did not see Johnson’s vehicle and struck it while backing up. Damages up to $25,000.
4:25 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, SR 19 and West CR 100S, Mentone. Driver: Martha Eicher, 17, CR 1500N, Macy. Eicher lost control of her vehicle due to snow on the roadway. Eicher’s vehicle went off the roadway and into a ditch. Damages up to $2,500.
1:33 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, SR 19 and West CR 575N, Etna Green. Driver: Benjamin Byers, 33, Elm Street, Rochester. Byers was attempting to stop his vehicle when he encountered a patch of snow and ice. Byers’ vehicle exited the roadway and collided with a wooden fence post and a barbed wire fence. Damages up to $5,000.
3:54 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, East CR 75N, east of Timberline Circle, Warsaw. Drivers: Deborah Wolf, 70, CR 300E, Leesburg; and Drian Graham, 69, Fawn Avenue, Warsaw. Wolf’s vehicle began to fishtail due to snowy road conditions, causing it to enter Graham’s vehicle’s lane of travel. The two vehicles collided head-on. Wolf and Graham’s front-seat passenger, Beverly Graham, 68, Warsaw, were transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for injuries sustained during the crash. Graham and his three other passengers were checked by medicals on the scene and declined further medical attention. Damages up to $25,000.
