Payless ShoeSource To File For Bankruptcy, Potentially Close All Stores
WARSAW — Payless ShoeSource Inc. is set to file bankruptcy later this month and may potentially close all of its stores, including the Warsaw location.
According to a report from Reuters, Payless plans to close approximately 2,300 stores. The company previously filed bankruptcy in April 2017 and exited 18 months ago with $400 million in loans.
The report says Payless has been attempting to find a buyer for the company, but has been unsuccessful. Payless declined to comment on the report.
The Warsaw Payless store is located at 2818 Frontage Road, Warsaw. Other local locations include Goshen and Plymouth.
