Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:
6:53 p.m. Thursday, March 7, North CR 175E and East 8 Square Road, Warsaw. Driver: Leonardo Zaca-Nayotl, 30, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Zaca-Navoti told police he was driving his vehicle northbound on CR 175E when a deer entered the roadway. He told police he was unable to avoid hitting the deer with his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
2:46 p.m. Thursday, March 7, North Parker Street, south of US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Martha E. Robinson, 96, Lake City Highway, Warsaw; Denyse M. Williamson, 80, North CR 700W, Warsaw. Robinson told police she was driving her vehicle northwest on North Parker Street and was approaching the intersection with US 30. She said she was in the left turn lane and did not want to turn left, so she merged into the straight lane, not seeing the vehicle driven by Williamson. Robinson’s vehicle side swiped Williamson’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
11:07 a.m. Thursday, March 7, South Scott Street and East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: James A. Guffey, 76, East Washington Road, Pierceton; Andrew P. Balke, 37, East Main Street, Warsaw. Guffey told police he was turning his vehicle right onto South Scott Street from East Winona Avenue and that he turned too wide, causing his vehicle to strike the vehicle driven by Balke, which was stopped at the intersection. Damage up to $5,000.
11:11 p.m. Saturday, March 2, East Center Street, Warsaw. A witness told police that a vehicle backed into a parked vehicle and that the driver of the backing vehicle drove away, leaving the scene of the accident. Damage up to $1,000.
