Retired Navy Captain Featured In Program On USS Indiana
NORTH MANCHESTER — The subject of the North Manchester Historical Society’s March program will be the USS Indiana (SSN 789): its Christening and Commissioning. The program will be conducted by guest speaker Doug Lehman.
Lehman is a retired U.S. Navy captain. He is a Wabash native and has been practicing as a lawyer in Wabash since 1979. During the program, Lehman will speak on the history, background, and christening of the USS Indiana, a new destroyer type.
The program will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11 in the Assembly Room of Timbercrest Senior Living Community, 2201 East St., North Manchester. There is no cost for the program.
