Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
6:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, South SR 15, north of West CR 900S, Silver Lake. Driver: Lucy R. Broadley, 57, West Central Avenue, Macy. Broadley was traveling north on SR 15 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
1:15 p.m. Monday, March 18, South SR 15, north of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Hailey N. Stineback, 21, North Third Street, Pierceton; and Daniel M. Christophel, 54, East Lincoln Street, Nappanee. Stineback was traveling south on SR 15 when she moved into the northbound lane to pass Christophel’s vehicle. However, Stineback said a northbound car was coming toward her, causing her to move back into the southbound lane. When she did this, her vehicle struck Christophel’s. This caused Stineback’s vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a tree. Stineback complained of shoulder and upper arm pain due to the accident. Damage up to $50,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:51 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, East Center Street, east of South Roosevelt Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Taylor M. Bales, 21, P.O. Box 191, New Paris; and Justin R. Bex O’Neal, 26, East 43rd Street, Anderson. Bales was traveling east on East Center Street when she rear-ended Bex O’Neal’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
3:16 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 534 W. CR 300N, Warsaw. Drivers: Morgan E. Conn, 19, North Long Drive, Syracuse; and Todd A. Shenefield, 52, West Clearwater Drive, Warsaw. Conn was backing her vehicle in a parking lot when she struck Shenefield’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
