Search Warrant Leads To Four Drug Arrests In Winona Lake
KOSCIUSKO — Based upon information that was obtained regarding the usage and distribution of marijuana and methamphetamine, Kosciusko County’s unified narcotics unit, Net 43, obtained a search warrant for 1202 Wooster Road lot 69, in Winona Lake. The search warrant was executed shortly before 10 a.m. on March 21.
Initially, Keith Vuittonet, 32, Keshia Hurd, 26, and Coty Haynes 28, in addition to two preschool-aged children, were located inside the residence. Cara Vuittonet, 30, arrived at the scene, shortly after the officers.
Inside the home, officers located more than 10 grams of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. It was discovered that the suspects were attempting to dispose of the methamphetamine, which carries a street value of more than $1,000, in the toilet. The children were placed into protective custody, by the Indiana Department of Child Services. The suspects were transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.
Keith Vuittonet is being charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and five counts of neglect of a dependant. Cara Vuittonet is being charged with possession of methamphetamine and four counts of neglect of a dependent. Hurd is being charged with possession of methamphetamine and neglect of a dependent. Haynes was arrested on a foreign warrant.
