NAPPANEE — Healing Heart Community Church will host the Easter play, “On a Hill Too Far Away,” in three performances at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, April 11-13.

“Come and experience one of the most vivid portrayals of Jesus as he walked this earth. You will be drawn back more than 2,000 years ago into the presence of Jesus,” reads the promotional poster.

“We have 25-plus involved with the play. Each member is engulfed in portraying their part.

“As Jesus preaches, teaches, heals, and raises the dead, you will be in awe of this presentation. Some of the most powerful moments are the ones leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“You will leave feeling that you have truly been in the presence of Jesus. Please Come.”

There is no charge for the program, but donations will be accepted.
