Parkview Warsaw Center for Healthy Living Hosts Session On Tactics And Treatments For COPD
WARSAW — Each year, more than 3 million Americans are diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, commonly referred to as COPD. COPD is an umbrella term to describe a wide range of progressive lung diseases including emphysema, chronic bronchitis and refractory asthma. Today, new treatments and medications are available to help manage symptoms and slow the progress of the disease, and lifestyle changes can improve the overall quality of life.
If you or someone you know has COPD, please join Brian Zehr, MD, Parkview Physicians Group – Pulmonology, from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at the Parkview Warsaw Center for Healthy Living. He will share signs, symptoms, risk factors and treatment options currently available for COPD.
The presentation is free but registration is requested. To reserve your seat, please call (260) 266-6500 or (844) 835-0003. The Parkview Warsaw Center for Healthy Living is located inside the Parkview YMCA at 1305 Mariners Drive, Warsaw.
