WARSAW — The second annual Sensory Day event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27.
The event is hosted by multiple community agencies, including Bowen Center, Beaman Home, Warsaw Community Schools, Childhood Alliance and Growing Kids Learning Center.
These local agencies will host a fun-filled day for children in the 0 to 5 age range, along with their families. The event will be held at Baker Youth Club, located at 1401 E. Smith St., Warsaw. This is the second year in a row BYC has graciously donated the use of their facility for the Sensory Day event.
Families will be able to participate in sensory activities and crafts. There is no cost to attend the event. Snacks will be provided and door prizes will be drawn.
April is both Autism Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month. The agencies putting together this event are excited to engage families in fun activities that everyone is sure to enjoy.
