Graham Decides On Taylor
WARSAW – Warsaw’s Drake Graham has been given the nod to take the mound as one of Warsaw’s top pitchers through this season, and the Tiger senior hurler has given his to Taylor University.
Graham, who is among the team leaders in ERA this year for the Tigers, will study Exercise Science and look to compete for coach Kyle Gould and the Taylor baseball program next fall. This season for the Tigers, Graham has appeared in four games on the hill through Wednesday, with 28 strikeouts in 17.2 innings pitched. At the plate, Graham is hitting .273 with three runs scored.
Graham has not only been a standout on the diamond for Warsaw, he’s shined in the school and community as well. A member of the National Honor Society, he was named Tri-Kappa Cum Laude and to the Tri-Alpha Society through a vote by the school’s faculty.
In addition to his school leadership, where he served as the Tiger cheerblock leader, Graham has had a great impact in the community by working with the Warsaw Little League, Miller’s Merry Manor and with Warsaw Community Church.
Taylor University is a member of the NAIA and the Crossroads League.
