MENTONE — The Mentone High School Alumni Association will hold its annual meeting and banquet at the Mentone Elementary School on Sunday, May 19.

The event will begin with social time at 11:30 a.m., followed by dinner at 12:30 p.m. Honor classes this spring include the classes of 1969, 1959 and 1949. Any individual who attended Mentone School is encouraged to attend, whether or not they graduated from Mentone High School.

Reservations are required and are due by May 11. They are to be sent to Alice Keirn, 1104 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw, IN 46580, or by phone at (574) 267-3092. Cost for the meal is $17.50. Checks may be made out to MHS Alumni Association.

Following dinner and special entertainment by Sharon Dillman, the newly published MHS history book will be available for pick-up in the lobby of the school for those who preordered the book. Some extra copies of the limited edition book were ordered and will be for sale for $20.

Book pick-ups and sales will also be available from 9 a.m. until noon Monday, May 20, at Creighton’s Crazy Egg Café, Warsaw; from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday, May 25, at the Bell Memorial Library; and from 4 to 7 p.m. May 31 at the Mentone Egg Festival information booth.

Books will also be available for sale only after the banquet at the Old Jail Museum, 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays, and from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturdays.
