Edgewood Awarded Grant For CNC Router
WARSAW — Arrow Head Country Resource Conservation and Development Area has announced an award of $2,500 to Edgewood Middle School engineering teacher, Abbi Richcreek. The grant money will go toward a CNC router that will be used to produce durable educational signage for a local nature area.
Arrow Head has given more than $270,000 in grants during the past five years to all 10 member counties. Arrow Head Country RC & D is a non- profit organization comprising of Cass, Fulton, Jasper, Kosciusko, Marshall, Miami, Newton, Pulaski, Stark, and White counties in Indiana.
The purpose of the organization is to provide local leadership for developing and carrying out a plan for the orderly conservation, improvement, development, and wise use of the natural resources, thereby improving the quality of life for all the people living in the area.
