Wawasee High School super mileage car team members include Eric Martinez, Cameron Gillum, Marshal Miller, Bryce Knepp, Dominique Faurote, Logan Hollar, Zach Leedy, Jack Collins, Luke Weisser, Stephen Foy, Micah Rassi, Brandon Baker, Jackson Templin and Nicholas Murphy.

SYRACUSE — Wawasee High School’s super mileage car team is raising funds to compete in a world competition in London, England. They are raising money for the entire team to travel to London July 2-5.

After winning the Shell Eco-marathon competition in early April in California, the team then placed first in the Drivers World Challenge qualifier. Now they will compete against the best teams in the world in London.

Shell, organizers of the competition, is paying for eight members of the team to go, but since everyone worked so hard during the year it was decided not one team member should be left behind.
