SYRACUSE — Mother & Me, sponsored by Lakeland Youth Center and 702 Salon & Spa in the Oakwood Resort, held Saturday, May 4, offered moms and their daughters an opportunity to bond.
Those participating enjoyed a light brunch featuring muffins, fruit and a variety of drinks. Each mother daughter duo got to pick a salon treatment, such as upbraid, manicure or chair massage. Several young ladies had their first manicures Saturday.
The daughters also had an opportunity to choose a pansy plant, which came in purple, apricot or yellow and paint a terra cotta pot for it. There was also a photo booth to memorialize the event.
