North Webster Library To Host Virtual Memory Walk May 23
NORTH WEBSTER — Many in North Webster will remember local resident Norma Roose’s Serenity Gardens that she and her daughter Sue Guy created and shared with the community during the mid-1990s.
Join this mother and daughter on a virtual memory walk through Serenity Gardens at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at North Webster Community Public Library. Through photos, memories and personal stories, Norma and Sue will share their journey of growing closer together and to their Creator through gardening. The program is free and open to the public.
Although Voyager Book Club usually meets at 10 a.m. the fourth Monday of the month, Voyager Book Club will meet a week earlier this month on Monday, May 20, with the time changed to 1 p.m. Participants will share and discuss books written by authors they have never read before. Take the opportunity to discover new authors and join the discussion.
Earlier at 10 a.m. Monday, May 20, Writer’s Corner will meet to share compositions on “the move.” It doesn’t matter if you are a published author or a novice, Writer’s Corner is for people who enjoy writing and networking with other writers.
It’s Game Day for adults at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, as adults are invited to come to the library for an afternoon of playing group party games. Bring friends or come solo and join in the fun.
