Warsaw Man Arrested For Using Brother’s Information To Obtain Employment
KOSCIUSKO — A Warsaw man was arrested after allegedly using his brother’s identifying information to obtain employment.
Gustavo Antonio Nunez, 30, 1606 Maye St., Warsaw; also with an address of 116 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, is being charged with identity deception and forgery, both level 6 felonies.
On April 18, the Kosciusko County Child Support division contacted the Indiana State Police about Nunez possibly using his brother’s identity for employment at PolyWood in Syracuse.
On May 16, an officer with the Indiana State Police determined through an interview with Nunez that he was working at PolyWood under his brother’s identity.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the officer found that Nunez used his brother’s name and identifying information in employment forms. Nunez advised he used his brother’s information because he is an illegal in the United States.
Nunez was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 16, with a $5,750 surety and cash bond.
