Anderson Excited To Join Goshen Softball
WARSAW – Lady Tiger softball standout Katie Anderson has selected to continue her athletic career and academic studies at Goshen College in the fall.
Anderson, a spark in the lineup for coach Kevin Dishman’s Tigers this past season, was a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen bases, tied for the team lead in runs with 21, and added 26 hits and 15 runs driven in. Anderson was also extremely versatile defensively, serving as both catcher and middle infielder during her senior year. Anderson finished the year with 28 defensive assists and was second on the team in total chances with 107.
Not just an outstanding competitor and representative of WCHS on the softball field, the three-year starter was a Scholar Athlete and assisted with Feed My Starving Children.
The Northern Lakes Conference All-Conference Honorable Mention selection plans to study biochemistry or biology at Goshen and play softball for coach Juliaclare Prezbert and the Maple Leafs. Goshen is a member of the NAIA and the Crossroads League.
