Etna Township Trustee Gary Sponseller Announces Resignation
KOSCIUSKO — A vacancy has occurred in the office of Etna Township Trustee due to the recent resignation of elected Republican Trustee Gary Sponseller.
Sponseller served as Etna Township Trustee for 16 years and is resigning due to moving out of the township.
Eligible applicants for the trustee position must be a resident of Etna Township, Kosciusko County, a Republican in good standing, and must not have a felony in their history.
The Etna Township Trustee vacancy will be filled and announced at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at the Kosciusko County Clerk’s Office, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw.
Declarations of candidacy and statements of economic interests are available at the clerk’s office and must be notarized and filed with Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee Chairman Mike Ragan no later than 72 hours prior to the appointment, or by 2 p.m. Monday, July 8.
