KC Recycling Construction Underway
WARSAW — Starting today, June 14, construction is underway at KC Recycling, and a few necessary changes to the recycling process have been made because of this.
KC Recycling is asking county residents who are bringing in electronics, paint, chemicals and other items previously that were taken in at the south receiving door to please enter the alley off Union Street to access the new receiving door on the northwest corner. Signs are in place to direct residents. Use of this alley is highly encouraged due to safety concerns.
For those looking to access the community recycling bins behind the building, the alley next to the railroad tracks will be closed during construction. Residents are asked to please use either of the alleys coming off Market Street to access the recycling bins. This allows the previously mentioned alley off Union Street to be strictly used for drop off.
The Re-Use Room, where free paint and other items are provided to the community, will be closed until further notice. Oil, oil filter and anti-freeze collection are also stopped at this time. Visit KC Recycling’s website to find information on where oil is still being collected.
KC Recycling appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation during this construction project and looks forward to fully serving residents again soon.
