According to the affidavit of probable cause, on May 15, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a male who said someone stole three tires and a car radiator from his property located in Kosciusko County.
The man advised he had surveillance photographs of the vehicle and provided those photos to the police. The surveillance photographs, dated May 15, showed an older model Chevrolet Silverado extended cab leave the property with items in the truck.
On May 16, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was contacted again by the same man, who told officers that unknown subjects entered the shop on his property on May 16. He advised the door had been pried open. Several items were stolen, including a Kennedy tool box containing hand tools valued at $500, six radiators and John Deere tractor wheel weights.
The man once again provided surveillance photographs, which showed a male subject carrying the Kennedy toolbox. The photographs also showed a female loading items into the back of the vehicle. The registration plate on the pickup was linked to Cole.
The subjects were identified as Cole and Vitalone.
Law enforcement officers went to Lewis Salvage and were told that, on May 17, Vitalone Jr. sold them an oil cooler radiator. Photographs were also provided showing Vitalone Jr. selling the items.
