UPDATE — Three People Transported From CR 200N Vehicle Accident
WARSAW — Three people, including a five-year-old child, were transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident on Monday, June 17.
At approximately 3:09 p.m. Monday, June 17, officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on East CR 200N, near North Cessna Road, Warsaw.
The crash involved a 2007 Kia Spectra, operated by Brady X. Herendeen, 23, North Sycamore Street, North Manchester; and a 2014 Ford Explorer, operated by Irene Ramirez Luevano, 41, East CR 200N #156, Warsaw.
Ramirez Luevano was traveling west on East CR 200N and Herendeen was traveling south on North Cessna Road. As Ramirez Luevano approached the intersection of North Cessna Road, Herendeen’s vehicle turned east in front of her vehicle.
Herendeen was transported by ambulance to Parkview Regional for head pain. Ramirez Luevano was transported to Parkview Warsaw for neck pain. A passenger in Ramirez Luevano’s vehicle, Vance Lopez, 5, Warsaw, sustained a face abrasion as a result of the accident and was also transported to Parkview Warsaw.
Damages are estimated at up to $25,000.
