MENTONE — Just before 2:30 p.m. today, June 20, emergency responders were called to an ATV accident at 518 N. Franklin St., Mentone.

According to dispatch reports, there was one injury suffered from a foot laceration and road rash. A trooper with the Indiana State Police confirmed the injuries as road rash and said the victim was a juvenile male.

Mentone Fire Department, Mentone’s Four-Way Emergency Services EMS, as well as deputies with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and the Indiana State Police responded to the accident.
