You Don’t Want To Miss ‘The Event’ On June 28
SYRACUSE — Join lake friends for a casual evening of food, live music and a grand prize giveaway at Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation’s “The Event,” a summer social. “The Event” will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the WACF Ruddell Pavilion, 11586 N. SR 13, Syracuse.
“The Event” is just that, a summer social combining dinner, cocktails, live music and dancing, all in a summer setting at the Ruddell Pavilion. It’s an event to join WACF, along with friends and neighbors, in a celebration of summer and lake life.
Blu Spoon Catering of Catablu Grille, Fort Wayne, will prepare a “Tapas n’Tails” dinner with a cash bar. The live band is one of the areas most popular bands, John Kirkwood and The SoulShot band.
The ticket for the evening includes dinner, music and dancing and a door prize drawing ticket. Door prize drawing for prizes will occur at 9 p.m. You must be present to win.
Door prizes include a Deluxe Family WaterMat donated by Bart’s Water Sports, a Model Wake Surf board and ProWake Watersports Tote Bag donated by ProWake Watersports and “Gone Boarding” under the direction of teacher Jordan Sharp, is the Wawasee High School program that teaches students how to build all types of ‘boards.’ Gone Boarding is donating a full size StandUp Paddle Board to The Event for one of this year’s great door prizes. Other door prizes will be announced on Facebook and www.wacf.com. There may be surprise door prize gifts announced at The Event.
Tickets, at $50 per person, are available at the WACF Center or Northern Lakes Insurance, 201 E. Palm Dr., Syracuse. Tickets may also be purchased online at WACF.com.
