Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
9:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, North SR 15, north of West CR 1350N, Milford. Driver: Tina K. Robertson, 38, West Syracuse Street, Milford. Robertson told police she was driving her vehicle northbound on SR 15 when a deer entered the roadway. She told police she was unable to avoid hitting the deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
7:18 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, South SR 15, south of West CR 300S, Warsaw. Driver: Jessica N. Hawn, 37, South Woodfield Trail, Warsaw. Hawn told police she was driving her vehicle southbound on SR 15 when a deer entered the roadway. She told police she was unable to avoid hitting the deer with her vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
2:21 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, North CR 650E, Warsaw. Driver: Laurie A. Hathaway, 52, East CR 300N, Warsaw. Hathaway told police she was driving her vehicle and it struck a piece of building material, causing damage to the undercarriage of her vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
5:08 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, North SR 19, east of North CR 900W, Etna Green. Driver: Brandon W. Thomas, 23, Second Street, Argos. Thomas told police he was driving his vehicle eastbound on SR 19 when he began to pass a car and was not left enough space to merge back in. He said there was another vehicle heading toward him and that he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll over several times and come to rest in a field. There were no injuries to report. Damage up to $10,000.
