Multiple Departments Respond To Possible Drowning Southeast Of Pierceton
PIERCETON — Multiple fire departments responded to a report of a possible drowning just south of the town of Pierceton Tuesday, July 2.
But a spokesperson for the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office said the incident, involving a 1-year-old boy, was not life-threatening.
The boy apparently fell into a trough and inhaled some water, according to the spokesman.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., Pierceton First Responders were dispatched to an area along East CR 500S, east of the SR 13 curve south of Pierceton in regards to an incident involving a 1-year-old.
The boy was taken by ambulance to a hospital. The incident happened at a residence. No further details were immediately available.
