Walter L. Bradley
Walter L. “Walt” Bradley passed away Monday, July 1, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, at 7:33 p.m. The fifth of nine children, he was born July 7, 1958, to Glessner “Toad” and Mae (Moore) Bradley in Huntington. On May 6, 1978, Walt Bradley married Mary G. Spaulding and she survives in Servia.
He graduated from Manchester High School in 1976. He was a big Chicago Bears fan and loved Indiana University sports. He had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He loved his dogs, but his granddaughter Ella held a very special place in his heart. Walt was a fisherman and a hunter when his health permitted.
Walt Bradley will be remembered by his wife Mary Bradley, Servia; one son, Walt Bradley Jr., Servia; one daughter, Amy (Nathan) Zinn, Wabash; four brothers: Rick (Linda) Bradley, Warsaw; Ronnie Bradley, Wabash; Bub (Crystal) Bradley, North Manchester; Lee (Kim) Bradley, Claypool; three sisters, Bonnie (Randy) Grossman, North Manchester; Diana (Curtis) Reimer, North Manchester; Janet (Joe) Nelson, Warsaw; and one granddaughter, Ella Grace Bradley. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Connie Bradley who passed away in 2016.
Friends and family may call from 2-8 p.m., Friday, July 5, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services for Walt will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 6, at McKee Mortuary with no calling prior to the service. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate and burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
