WARSAW — Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana Michiana is hosting a Girl Scout for a Day event in Warsaw from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, at the First United Methodist Church in Warsaw. The church is located at 179 S. Indiana St., Warsaw.

The event is free to the community. Learn how to be a Girl Scout and what you can do as a Girl Scout.

Grades: Daisy (K-1), Brownie (2-3), Junior (4-5), Cadette (6-7-8), Senior (9-10), Ambassador (11-12)

Learn what it means to be a Girl Scout at this free event. Those who attend will have the opportunity to learn a secret language, invent something new and be creative.

Girls who register to become a Girl Scout at the event will receive their first patch and a $5 gift certificate to use toward purchasing their uniform or to attend a program this summer.
