Mentone

Officers with the Mentone Police Department investigated the following accident:

4:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, Main Street, west of Franklin Street, Mentone. Drivers: Chassidy E. Bays, 23, South CR 875W, Claypool; and Helene N. Dillinger, 62, Jackson Boulevard, Rochester. Bays was traveling west on Main Street when she rear-ended Dillinger’s vehicle. Dillinger’s vehicle was stopped for an approaching train. Damage up to $10,000.  

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

3:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 1200 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Driver: Angelita N. Garcia, 40, Hartzler Street, Warsaw. Garcia was turning right into a drive aisle of a parking lot when she struck a parked vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

12:16 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 600 block of East Bell Drive, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. James Stump’s company truck was parked on a gravel access drive when it sustained damage to its passenger side. The damage appeared to be from another vehicle backing into it. Damage up to $5,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

4:18 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, Argonne Road, near Winona Avenue, Winona Lake. Driver: Marko Cuca, 28, Beechwood Drive, Tallmadge, OH. Cuca turned north onto Argonne Road from Winona Avenue when his vehicle struck a viaduct that had a 13 foot height restriction. The trailer on Cuca’s vehicle was 13 feet, 6 inches in height. Damage up to $25,000.

Fulton

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

9:48 p.m. Monday, July 8, US 31 and Olson Road. Driver: Kyle A. Dell, 25, Walkerton. Dell’s vehicle struck a deer.
