WARSAW — More pleasant, rain-free weather is in the forecast for much of the weekend in north-central Indiana.

Highs on Friday, Aug. 9, and Saturday, Aug. 10, are expected to be 81 with mostly sunny skies during the day and clear conditions at night in Kosciusko County, the National Weather Service said.

Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high of 84, but there is a 20 percent chance of rain in the afternoon.

The chance for rain will increase on Monday when highs will be around 86.

Except for a lingering chance of rain Tuesday, much of the forecast for next week calls for mild and dry conditions.
