Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:17 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, North SR 13, north of Effie Mae Street, North Webster. Drivers: Eric A. Scott, 22, Trier Road, Fort Wayne; and Luke A. Elliott, 23, East CR 800S, La Fontaine. Scott was traveling north on SR 13 when he struck the side of Elliott’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

10:42 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, East Winona Avenue, near Northbay Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Orin A. Boyd, 48, South SR 9, Columbia City. Boyd was traveling west on East Winona Avenue preparing to turn left onto Northbay Drive when an unknown vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign. To avoid a collision, Boyd swerved his vehicle, causing it to strike a Nipsco utility pole. Damage up to $10,000.

7:29 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, West SR 25, near North SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Gerald L. Enyeart, 59, West CR 1400N, North Manchester; and Robert B. Harting, 43, West CR 1400N, North Manchester. Enyeart was stopped at the traffic light on East Winona Avenue when he proceeded to begin to turn left. As he did so, he rear-ended Harting’s vehicle. Harting complained of neck pain and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $2,500.

9:01 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, US 30, north of CR 250E, Warsaw. Drivers: Isabelle G. Wellman, 20, Bremer Road, New Haven; and Kurt A. Scott, 39, North Columbia Street, Warsaw. Scott was traveling north on CR 250E when he was rear-ended by Wellman’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

2:10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, SR 15, near East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeremiah D. Williams, 42, East Hendricks Street, Warsaw; and Ashlen L. Morrow, 21, North Chauncey Street, Columbia City. Morrow was traveling south on Detroit Street when Williams’ vehicle turned left in front of her, causing a collision. Williams left the scene on foot. Damage up to $10,000.

12:40 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, Mariners Drive, near North Pointe Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Brittany N. Ritter, 34, North Main Street, Milford; and Amelia C. Lopez, 75, East Porthcawl Road, Winona Lake. Ritter was on North Point Drive when she turned left onto Mariners Drive and pulled into Lopez’s lane of travel. Damage up to $5,000.
