MudLOVE Celebrates 10 Years with ‘Block of Love’ Party Sept. 7
WARSAW — Block of Love, MudLOVE’s birthday party and Water for Good fundraiser, returns to Winona Lake Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
With events ranging from a Makers Mart, and a yoga class, to live music and a lively after-party, there’s something for everyone. Water for Good, together with MudLOVE, hopes to raise $10,000, with $30,000 in pledges, toward clean water projects in the Central African Republic.
The highlight of this year’s event is the Makers Mart. Featuring artists and makers from across the Midwest, including several Warsaw residents, the Makers Mart is the perfect opportunity to begin your holiday shopping. Vendors include printmakers, ceramicists, jewelers, and other delightful artisans. Cerulean will have Bento Box lunches for purchase while a band performs during the lunch break. The Maker’s Mart will take place at the Winona Heritage Room from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At 10 a.m., Olivia Lehman, yoga instructor and associate director of development at Water for Good, returns to lead a relaxing and refreshing yoga class. Olivia will lead you through an hour of basic flow with an emphasis on water elements, perfect for any skill level. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to Water for Good, and for every ticket you purchase, you will receive a complimentary drink from Light Rail. Yoga in the Park will take place near the Winona Heritage Room. You can purchase your tickets by going here: https://donate.waterforgood.org/event/yoga-for-water/e242067
At 4 p.m. the Garden at Cerulean will begin serving drinks. Food and music will begin at 5 p.m. and feature a live band.
A $5 suggested entry fee will be collected for Water for Good. RSVP to Block of Love here: www.mudlove.com/blockoflove2019.
