Warsaw Library Announces Return Of Story Time

WARSAW — The following programs are set to take place in September at the Warsaw Community Public Library.

Friends of the Library will host its monthly meeting Sept. 3 at 1 p.m. and a mini book sale is scheduled for Sept. 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Drop in Zone, featuring video games and virtual reality is on the calendar for Sept. 4. Teens play from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Adults play from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m.
Chess Club meets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday. The Cookbook Club meets at 11 a.m. on Sept. 9 for recipes on “Tailgating Foods.”
Painters are invited to come paint “Groot” during Creative Canvas with Susie Schaetzle on Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. $20 is due at registration.
Writers Club meets at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 9. Topics include Faith, Family and Labor Day.
A program called Make it and Take it Mason Jar String Art will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 for ages 13 years and older. The class is free, but registration is requested.
The library will host a computer clinic from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 11, and from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 25. Patrons who wish to attend are asked to bring their electronic devices for assistance.
Pokémon Club meets at 4 p.m. on Sept. 11.
Chapter Chat Book Club will meet Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. to discuss the title “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens.
Patrons can learn how to weave Indian corn baskets with Sweet Annie’s Basketry on Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m. $20 is due at registration.
Humana presents “Healthy Benefits of Fruit Infused Water” on Sept. 20 at 2 p.m., The class is free, but registration is registration is requested.
Sonrise Crafting Stencil Class will meet on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. The library announced there are several designs to choose from. Price varies and is due at registration.
“Healthy Choices for Dining Out” with Sue Delagrange is slated for 1 p.m. on Sept. 23. Registration is requested.
For anyone interested in working for the U.S. Census, Larry Krueger will be available to answer questions and help with the application Sept. 23 from 3 to 8 p.m.
Teen Minecraft is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sept. 24. Patrons can also experience virtual reality on Sept. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. Dog tricks with Willow and Shelly will be in the library on Sept. 28 at 11 a.m.
On Sept. 30 at 5 p.m., the library will host wool felted pumpkins with Karen McPeak from Midnight Rose Wool Felted Sculptures. Participants will learn new needle felting techniques. $20 is due at registration.
