Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
7:10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, West CR 25S, west of South CR 900W, Etna Green. Driver: Tina A. Mikel, 49, West CR 75N, Etna Green. Mikel was traveling east on West CR 25S when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
6:52 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, West CR 400N, east of North CR 150W, Warsaw. Driver: Matthew A. Lucas, 41, Westside Drive, Warsaw. Lucas was traveling east on CR 400N when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
12:20 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, South SR 13, north of East Old Road 30, Pierceton. Drivers: Neil C. Snyder, 41, Wilson Drive, Carmel. Snyder was traveling south on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, West Old Road 30, west of North CR 875W, Atwood. Driver: Brenda K. Shell, 49, West Railroad Street, Etna Green. Shell was traveling west on Old Road 30 when a dog entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
1:31 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 409 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeffery A. Burgin, 49, East CR 200N #94, Warsaw; and Levi L. Hall, 22, East CR 350S, Pierceton. Burgin was backing his vehicle from a parking space when he struck the trailer of Hall’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, Lake City Highway, near East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Mary D. Stork, 66, North SR 13, Pierceton; and Steven A. Secrist, 67, North Nancy Drive, Warsaw. Stork was traveling west on Lake City Highway when she rear-ended Secrist’s vehicle. A passenger in Secrist’s vehicle, Donita F. Secrist, 67, Warsaw, complained of neck pain and was taken from the scene by EMS. Damage up to $5,000.
