Triton fell in a 4-1 decision opposite visiting Bethany Christian at home on Saturday.
The Trojans’ sole match point of the meet came at 2 singles, where Connor Large earned a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Braden Bohn. John Gardner took Caleb Shenk to three sets at 1 singles but fell, 6-1, 3-6, 6-0.
Triton slips to 4-5 on the season.
The JV Trojans also fell, 3-0.
WESTVIEW 5, WAWASEE 0
Wawasee boys tennis fell via sweep to visiting Westview Saturday.
The hosts won just 11 games against their opponents. Grant Brooks and Blaine Baut had the most competitive score of the day with a 6-2, 6-3 loss at 1 doubles. Colin Rhodes and Zeke Keim took three games at 2 doubles but full 6-2, 6-1.
The Warriors slide to 2-4.
GRACE 7, MT. VERNON NAZARENE 0
Grace’s men’s tennis team needed little time dismantling Mt. Vernon Nazarene 7-0 on Saturday.
The Lancers (5-1, 4-0 Crossroads League) earned a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles by Pavle Popovic and Milan Savic, and Max Rozas and Nicolas Graber won 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Rozas went on to win 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles. Fabricio Galvan won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Ramiro Candia cruised 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Kye Barrett picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles, and Jacob Gray was perfect 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5.
Grace won No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles by default.
The Lancers remain on the road Tuesday with a match at St. Francis.
