Bourbon Man Arrested After Breaking Into Home While Armed With Knife
BOURBON — Terry L. Sabo, Bourbon, was arrested by Bourbon Police Tuesday, Sept. 10, after he broke into a home while armed with a knife.
Sabo was charged with burglary with a deadly weapon, a level 2 felony; intimidation with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony; residential entry, a level 6 felony; and criminal mischief, a class A misdemeanor.
Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger responded to the 400 block of East Liberty at 10:26 p.m. for a call of someone breaking into a residence with a knife. Sabo had allegedly made entry into the residence and threatened to harm the family inside. Police reported Sabo had cut himself on windows he had broken.
Police found Sabo just outside the residence and he was detained. EMS was called to treat Sabo and he was taken to a hospital. He was later taken to the Marshall County Jail.
Sabo is being held in the Marshall County Jail on no bond. A court date has been set for 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Marshall County Superior Court 1.
