September is Library Card Sign-Up Month. The BMPL invites the library to join a scavenger hunt. Each participant will be given a punch card. Visit each of the participating libraries and have a librarian punch the card. Then, bring it back to Bell Memorial Library and pick which prize to try and win. A library card is not required to play, but extra entries will be gained toward giveaways for signing up. Note that not all library cards are provided for free.
Participating libraries include Bell Memorial Public Library, Akron Carnegie Public Library, Argos Public Library, Bourbon Public Library, Rochester Library, Milford Public Library and Syracuse Public Library. The BMPL thanks its sponsors for making the library scavenger hunt possible: North Pointe Cinemas, It’s Whimsicality, Java Jack, Martin’s Supermarket, Terri’s This and That, Deli n’ Dough, TJ’s Crafts and Home Décor and Pete and Freddy’s Pages Aplenty bookstore.
