11th Annual Heartline Walk For Life And 5K Scheduled
WARSAW — Heartline Pregnancy Center will hold its 11th annual Walk for Life & 5K (Donut Dash) at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct.19.
The fundraising walk/run will start and end at the K21 Health Pavilion, 1515 Provident Drive, Warsaw, traveling through the Lake City Greenway. Each participant who registers by Oct. 1 will be guaranteed an event t-shirt in their size.
Registration is available online at: www.heartlinepregnancycenter.org or call (574) 267-5110 to request a registration form. Participants are encouraged to establish a fundraising account when they register online (pledge forms are also available). For each $100 raised, the fundraiser’s name will be entered in a drawing for prizes including season tickets to the Wagon Wheel, three-month Platinum Clearwater Car Wash passes, gift cards to area businesses and more.
All proceeds will go to support Heartline’s ministry. Heartline provides free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds as well as a number of services including prenatal and parenting education, pregnancy and post pregnancy support and community outreach programs.
The race will be chip-timed by Kosciusko Runners Association and awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each five-year age category. Also, awards will be given out for the top three finishers who eat a donut at each of the three stations throughout the course.
