Bell Memorial Public Library Events, Sept. 23-27
MENTONE — The Bell Memorial Public Library will recognize Banned Books Week from Sept. 22-28.
Banned Books Week is an annual awareness campaign promoted by the American Library Association and Amnesty International, and celebrates the freedom to read, draws attention to banned books and highlights persecuted individuals.
The Bell Memorial Public Library encourages patrons to stop by and get caught reading a banned book.
