Pierceton Man Faces Charges After Selling Meth To NET 43 Officer
PIERCETON — A Pierceton man is facing charges after allegedly selling methamphetamine to a NET 43 Drug Task Force officer.
Wayne Lynn Weaver, 49, 47 S. Robinson Lake Road, Pierceton, is charged with dealing methamphetamine, a level 3 felony; and possession of methamphetamine, a level 5 felony.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, between the dates of Aug. 1 and Aug. 31, an officer with the NET 43 Drug Task Force provided Weaver with documented tasks force money in exchange for 7.4 grams of methamphetamine. The controlled purchase was captured on digital surveillance.
Weaver was booked at the Kosciusko County Jail Sept.19 on a $20,250 surety and cash bond.
