Valley To Host Regional Unified Games
AKRON – The IHSAA announced Monday that Tippecanoe Valley will again serve as host for the IHSAA Unified Flag Football regional round.
Valley, which hosted this year’s sectional, will take on Valparaiso in one of two congruent regional games this Saturday. Fort Wayne Carroll and McCutcheon will play in the other semi-final, both games starting at 11 a.m. at Death Valley. The two winners will come back to immediately play for the regional championship.
Tickets for the Valley regional are $5 at the door.
The regional champion from Tippecanoe Valley will take on the champion from Mooresville on the southern half of the bracket at the IHSAA State Finals. Mooresville is hosting regional games between Mooresville and Noblesville, along with Franklin Central and defending champion Bedford North Lawrence, which beat Tippecanoe Valley in last year’s inaugural championship.
The championship game will take place Oct. 19 at Grand Park Sports Event Center in Westfield, a noon start. Tickets for the championship game are also $5 at the door.
