An occupant in this vehicle was transported to Goshen Hospital with unknown injuries following a crash at CR 1350N and CR 700W.

NAPPANEE — One person was transported to Goshen Hospital with injuries following a two-vehicle crash at CR 1350N and CR 700W south of Nappanee at approximately 2:17 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 15.

The accident occurred between a GMC truck and a Saturn Vue. The occupant of the Saturn was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. There was a minor extrication of those in the Saturn vehicle by firefighters.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.

Nappanee Fire Department, Nappanee EMS and Nappanee Police also responded to the scene.

Initial thoughts were the white Jeep was involved in a crash with two other vehicles. However, it was learned that the driver pulled off the side of the road too far, causing the Jeep to slide down the steep embankment.
