WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a Weed Wrangle event at Koinonia Nature Preserve, Pierceton, from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 26.

During this event, participants will learn about invasive plants and how to control them. Participants will also have the opportunity to get out into the woods and I.D. woody invasive plants firsthand. With these newly learned skills, people will be armed with the tools necessary to remove invasive plants. The focus plants will be autumn olive and bush honeysuckle.

Tools will be provided. Please wear long pants, closed-toe shoes and work gloves. All ages are welcome to attend. Chili will be served at noon.
