Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
3:49 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, South SR 15, south of West CR 400S, Warsaw. Driver: Thomas M. Ogden, 60, Elmwood Drive, Wabash. Ogden was traveling north on South SR 15 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
9:19 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, South CR 550W, south of West CR 100S, Warsaw. Driver: Ronald C. Hurley, 53, South SR 25, Mentone. Hurley was traveling south on South CR 550W when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
7:24 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, North CR 300E, north of EMS T32 Lane, Leesburg. Driver: Theodore J. Lakoski, 73, North CR 450E, Leesburg. Lakoski was traveling north on CR 300E when a deer entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:18 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, Walton Boulevard, near SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Charles D. Bone, 80, EMS T31 Lane, Leesburg; and Christ J. Yoder, 33, Globe Mills Road, Middleburg, Pa. Bone was traveling east when he went across an intersection, striking Yoder’s trailer. Damage up to $2,500.
