Police Investigate Warsaw Bank Robbery; Suspect Fled
WARSAW — A bank in Warsaw was robbed early Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 12.
At approximately 12:42 p.m. Tuesday, Warsaw Police were alerted to a bank robbery that occurred at First Federal Savings Bank, located at 402 E. Center St. in Warsaw.
Officers quickly arrived in the area and began to search for a male suspect reportedly wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled up, and something covering the suspect’s face that was black and red in color, according to a news release from police.
The suspect displayed a note that spelled out his intentions. No weapon was displayed. The man escaped with an unknown amount of cash and fled in an unknown direction.
Warsaw Police were assisted by Indiana State Police and Winona Lake Police.
The suspect is a man believed to be in his 20’s with slender in build.
