Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

5:57 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, US 30, Warsaw. Driver: Ashley Rodewald, 36, Union Street, Warsaw. Rodewald’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $10,000. 

8:35 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, South CR 700W, south of West CR 500S, Burket. Driver: Eathan Prater, 17, Buffalo Street, Burket. Prater’s vehicle slid on the slick roadway and struck a Nipsco utility pole. Damage up to $5,000. 

4:04 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, North CR 300W, Warsaw. Driver: Tina Goon, 58, North CR 300W, Warsaw. Goon lost control of her vehicle due to slick road conditions. The vehicle slid off the road and went into a ditch. Damage up to $10,000. 

7:32 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, Armstrong Road, Warsaw. Driver: Kristina Stahl, 52, North CR 450E, Leesburg. Stahl’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $10,000. 

Mentone

Officers with the Mentone Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:32 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, SR 19, Mentone. Driver: Dennis Baker, 63, North CR 900E, Mentone. Baker’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $10,000. 

7:58 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, SR 25, Mentone. Driver: John Schmidt, 55, Apple Valley, Lagrange. Schmidt’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:58 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, Center Street, west of Hickory Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jennifer Riley, 39, Park Avenue, Warsaw; and Isaac Fussle, 18, Pierceton Road, Warsaw. Riley’s vehicle sideswiped Fussle’s vehicle as Riley changed lanes. Damage up to $10,000. 

10:42 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, East Pierceton Road near South CR 600E, Pierceton. Driver: John A. Nelly, 25, Lark Lane, Warsaw. Nelly was driving his vehicle when a deer entered the roadway. Damages up to $2,500.

6:29 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, SR 25 near South Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Nancy Krouse, 29, Ford Lane, Warsaw; and Ismael Pudlio, 36, East Market Street C, Warsaw. Krouse’s westbound vehicle slid on ice and failed to stop at the intersection of SR 25 and Zimmer Road, causing the front of her vehicle to collide with the rear of Pudlio’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
