MENTONE — Bell Memorial Public Library announced its upcoming events for the week of Nov. 18-22, 2019.
Read It Watch It is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 19 starting at 4 p.m. The topic of discussion will be “The Hound of the Baskerville’s” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (A Sherlock Holmes Mystery). The library will screen the film as well.
Calling all crafters! Creative Corner will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 5–7 p.m. This month, attendees will be making Christmas themed lighted glass blocks (designs vary). The cost for this class is $5. The library kindly requests those interested to sign up as space is limited. Creative Corner is for adults only, ages 18 and up. Story Hour will take place on Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. in the children’s room. This week’s theme will be “Thanksgiving”. Stories to be read are: “Turk and Runt” by Lisa Wheeler and “What Is Thanksgiving” by Michelle Adams. Children’s craft will be creating a turkey.
The Bell Museum will host Bingo on Thursday, November 21. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Early Birds at 5:30 pm. License#150404

NANOWRIMO starts Nov. 1, the library will be having a writing discussion day on Thursday the 21st from 4-6 p.m. Teens can bring in their stories or poems to read and discuss. Anyone who comes will get snacks and a free journal!
